Features

Every environment, handled.

Small, quiet and always one click away. Here is what it does for you.

localstagingproduction
APP_URL=http://localhost:3000

One click to switch

Pick a profile in the menu bar and .env is rewritten on the spot. The bar takes the environment’s colour, so production reads red from across the room.

.env.local.env.staging.env.production
Keychain

Secrets in the Keychain

Every profile lives in your login Keychain, not in loose .env.staging files. The one .env on disk is readable by you alone.

Hand edits are caught

Change .env yourself and the menu bar key turns into a warning within a second. Save the edits to the profile or throw them away.

Missing keys are named

Keys declared in .env.example but absent from the active profile show up by name.

$ git status --short

?? .env

.env isn’t in .gitignore

Leaks are flagged

If git would commit your .env, you hear about it before your teammates do.

Touch ID for production

Production asks first

Protected profiles need Touch ID to show, switch to, run or delete.

Compare without revealing

A key-by-key diff between two profiles. Values stay hidden, so it’s safe on a shared screen.

The app

Edit every profile in one place.

Pick a profile to edit it, compare it with another, or switch to it. Try it: production is locked.
